Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Langdon Avenue Elementary School. My name is Maria Manzo, and I am deeply honored to have been entrusted with the education and well-being of our students.

Many of you may already know me. I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal, EIS, for the past eight months. During this time, I've had the opportunity to deeply understand and appreciate the incredible strengths and potential within our students, staff, and community.

With eighteen years of experience in education, encompassing various roles such as classroom teacher, coordinator, and assistant principal, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passionate commitment to nurturing student success. I firmly believe in the inherent talents and untapped potential of every child. As Principal, my mission is to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where each student feels valued, empowered, and inspired to realize their maximum potential. My goal is to work collectively with our staff and you to ensure our students are prepared for college and ready for the world.
