PBS LearningMedia

Take the Stage on PBS LearningMedia recently launched a collection of FREE videos for elementary students to learn academics through interactive arts activities.  Each of these educational videos comes with a teacher guide, student worksheet, and is aligned with the California Content Standards.

Take the Stage uses the power of the visual and performing arts to improve the learning impact of educational curriculum.  Our founder, Dan Gordon, was inspired by Sesame Street to create content for kids that was engaging and educational.  In fact, the former executive producer of Sesame Street, Carol-Lynn Parente, was the executive producer for these videos.  This media is backed by research validating the efficacy of Take the Stage strategies to increase student comprehension as well as showing that students loved this method of learning.

To reach as many students as possible, we have created content in both English and Spanish.  Below I have provided links to make it easy to identify videos aligned with specific curriculum.

Measure EE
